The course is 5000m (5k) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel. The course is at Waterfall City Park, at the Mall of Africa, Midrand. Our start is next to the outdoor restaurants and the fountain. Park on the G5 and E5 levels in the Mall of Africa parking and come straight outside. The course is run on a mixture of concrete paths and trail paths. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.
Course Description
Single lap, circular route from the Fountain Court (south side) at Mall of Africa, in an anticlockwise direction keep right!! Return to the the Fountain Court, Mall of Africa, Waterfall City.
Dogs are welcome at Waterfall parkrun, following the parkrun Dog Policy of one dog per participant & under control on a short lead, however, dogs are not allowed within the shopping centre.

Addington Beach, located in front of Ushaka Point, is a safe beach for swimming and playing with the kids. There is ample parking available at Ushaka and Surf Riders Cafe has excellent food options. The beach is perfect for relaxing in the sun and appreciating the views.

The Bay of Plenty Beach Pavillion is a great place to spend a day at the beach with your family. There's plenty of space to play, and there's always something to eat nearby. The staff are polite and don't take advantage of their positions, so you can relax and have a great time.
