Experience the charm of a refreshing morning run through the scenic landscapes of Vaal Marina at the 5km parkrun, where participants gather to celebrate fitness, community, and the picturesque beauty of the area.
The course is 5000m (5k) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel. The course is at Vaal Marina, Gauteng. The course is run entirely on trail paths. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.
Course Description
A single lap on a mixture of double and single track trails across open grassland within the circle formed by Ring Road. Beautiful views of the Vaal Dam. Some sections of the course may become a little muddy after rain.
Parts of the route may be unsuitable for buggies, please contact the event team in advance to discuss the course.

Toilets next to Misty Bay Kiosk, Misty Bay.
