Shongweni parkrun is a popular weekly event that takes place in the scenic surroundings of Shongweni Dam and Game Reserve, located near Durban, South Africa. This parkrun offers participants the opportunity to run, jog, or walk a 5-kilometer route through the beautiful natural landscape, including forested areas and open plains.

Course Description

A beautiful trail run starting from the horse paddocks of the Durban Shongweni Club and following some flowing single track around the fields. The course consists of two laps with a combined distance of 5km.

Facilities

The Saddle Inn is located at the Durban Shongweni Club, and offers coffee and breakfast.
