Familiarize yourself with this 5.6-kilometer out-and-back trail located near Okhahlamba NU, Kwazulu-Natal. It’s typically regarded as a moderately challenging route, with an average completion time of about 1 hour and 44 minutes. This trail is a well-liked choice for birdwatching, hiking, and running.

A beautiful walk from Didima hutted camp into the indigenous forest with magnificent yellowwoods and wonderful bird life. Follow the river upstream into a gorge, past rock pools, rapids and waterfalls. The gorge eventually narrows and you will see a huge rock wedged between the gorge’s sandstone walls. This is the “chock-stone”. If you happen to catch the sun in the right position, water pouring down the sides of the gorge throws up sparkling rainbows that dance in the spray. Then retrace your steps.
