Absolutely beautiful scenery and easy enough for a first time hiker. The trail is an straight forward walk along the pathway for the first half of the hike, then gives way to natural terrain on the second half. There are one or two areas that involve some uphill, but still easy enough for children. It doesn’t get any better than relaxing in the Cascades rock pools on a hot summers day.
