Nestled amidst the scenic wonders of Mpumalanga, the Klipspringer Lodge 5km parkrun offers a refreshing and invigorating way to start your day. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a leisurely stroll, this community event provides a picturesque backdrop for fitness enthusiasts of all levels
The course is 5000m (5k) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel. The course is at Klipspringer Lodge, Nelspruit. The course is run entirely on trail paths. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.
Course Description
This is a circular route with beautiful scenery and is mostly trail route run on a broad 4×4 track. The course is run on a game farm lodge. You will be able to experience nature while you run with wildebeest, ostrich, kudu, and more animals that roam the area.
Due to the terrain, parts of the course may make it harder for people with buggies & pushchairs – please contact the team in advance for further information.
Unfortunately dogs are not allowed at this event.
Facilities
There are toilets, wedding / conference facilities, restaurant and bar, paintball, archery range, bow hunting, game drivers, chalets and camping at the lodge

Every Saturday at 7:00am (October – March) & 8:00am (April – September).
