The route is well marked and to swim in the pools in summer is wonderful. Great for birding, lots of different species with the rare Cape Vultures and their nests easy to spot. Shaded picnic areas with an equipped kitchen and clean ablutions are great to relax and eat at after the trail.

Hiking, mountain biking or birdwatching, Klipbokkie trails is one of the best spots to really experience the majesty of the Kransberg and Waterberge. Klipbokkie is Afrikaans for “little rock antelope”, the routes designed will most definitely make you feel like an agile rock hopper or at least provide you with the opportunity to see the views all these little and big game call their home.

It is a perfect venue to explore the rich natural heritage and afterwards book a good old Waterberg Braai (barbeque) at one of the lovely bush boma’s. From easy to challenging, the Klipbokkie trails cater for everyone plus you can do your bit for Vulture Conservation.

Kransberg is in the Marakele National Park and from the Klipbokkie trails you will have the perfect vantage point to spot the endangered Cape Vultures that have a large breeding colony there.

Book you braai spot and book a braai-pack at R200pp. (Please note only soft-drinks, the road back is challenging we don’t want our guests to drink and drive.)
