The Kleinmond Cycle Club invites all cycling enthusiasts to enjoy the beauty of the Overberg. Well maintained routes take you through Fynbos with magnificent views of the Bot River Lagoon, the mountains and even views of the ocean in the distance.
Private land owners have kindly granted permission for the Club members to cycle on their pristine properties and enjoy the natural beauty. Our gratitude goes out to all the owners and we kindly ask that members adhere to the rules in this regard, as it is indeed a privilege granted to the Club. To ensure an enjoyable ride, the Club is consistently performing maintenance on the MTB routes.
Regular social rides are organised, for MTB rides as well as the road cyclists. The longer rides usually include a coffee stop and the perfect opportunity to meet other cyclists.
The Club is currently communicating with the local municipality for permission to construct a pump track to encourage younger cyclists to take up the sport. Donated bicycles will also make it possible to promote cycling in local schools and the broader community.
