The course is 5000m (5k) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel. The course is at Kei Mouth Country Club, Kei Mouth. The course is run entirely on trail paths. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.

Course Description

The course starts behind the Clubhouse, next to the squash courts and goes up to and around the putting green at the top of the course, then back down towards the Clubhouse where it turns right and goes up to the elevated tee. Go down the steep paved path towards the Clubhouse, then turn right and continue down the western side of the golf course until a track leading off to the right is reached. Follow this track through the dune forest and then turn slightly right towards the tee box on the hill in front. Before reaching this tee, the parkrun course turns left, goes down the paved path then turns right onto the fairway. Stay on the western perimeter of the golf course and continue down towards the sea. At the bottom exit the golf course through the cattle gate and turn right onto the coastal road to the lighthouse.
Shortly after passing “Wacky Point” (a white building with colourful artwork), there is a “turnaround” sign. Turn around here and follow the road back past the exit point from the golf course and the “Whispering Waves” resort on the left.
Continue to the tar road, cross over and re-enter the golf course through the eastern gate. Stay on the eastern perimeter, heading up “Heartbreak Hill” until the top of the course is reached.
Turn left to return to the Clubhouse across the Main Road. Follow the path between the Clubhouse and the squash courts, with a slight left turn at the golf cart garages, past which the course turns left towards the finish in front of the Clubhouse.
