The splendid Jonkershoek Mountains and sections of the Jonkershoek valley find their abode within this nature reserve. Situated in the south-western Cape close to the town of Stellenbosch, the reserve encompasses the smaller Assegaaibosch Nature Reserve. Those who venture here have the option to discover either or both reserves, conveniently located within close proximity. Positioned approximately 9 km from Stellenbosch along the Jonkershoek valley road, these reserves offer accessible exploration opportunities.
