Hluhluwe parkrun is a popular weekly event held in the picturesque Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Game Reserve in South Africa. Nestled within the heart of Zululand, this parkrun offers participants a unique opportunity to run or walk amidst the breathtaking African wilderness. The route winds through the park’s diverse landscapes, featuring lush forests, open grasslands, and scenic views of the Hluhluwe River.

Course Description

Starting inside the farm gate, the route follows a well marked trail consisting of cut grass paths and gravel tracks.

Facilities

Toilets, showers, children’s play area, Ilala Weavers shop and cultural museum and the Sibayeni indigenous plant nursery are all housed within the Ilala Weavers complex.

When is it?

Every Saturday at 7:00am (October – March) & 8:00am (April – September).

Where is it?

The event takes place at 1 Ngweni Road, Hluhluwe, 3960.
