The course is 5000m (5k) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel. The course is at Hazeldean Farm, Hazeldean. The course is run entirely on trail paths. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.
Course Description
The course consists of farm roads and mostly single track through the bushveld on Hazeldean Valley Trails, going through 1 sty and over 4 wooden bridges. Flat and mostly easy trail running terrain except for one rocky section. Crosses the MTB track a couple of times and a private farm road twice in safe places.
Parts of the route may be unsuitable for buggies, please contact the event team in advance to discuss the course.
Facilities
Facilities including ablutions, children’s play area, jungle gyms, children’s bike park, seating, food and drink stalls etc at the Hazeldean Cowhouse Market. Market is wheelchair friendly.
