Embark on a revitalizing fitness journey in the serene setting of Dullstroom with the Dullstroom 5km parkrun. This event not only offers an opportunity for a refreshing morning run but also a chance to immerse yourself in the tranquility of Dullstroom’s picturesque surroundings,

The course is 5000m (5k) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel. The course is at Dullstroom Dam & Nature Reserve, Dullstroom, Mpumalanga, 1110 (25°24’25.74″S 30°6’25.63″E). The course is run on a mixture of trail paths, grass, concrete paths and wooden bridges. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.

Course Description

The event starts at the hall of the Dullstroom Nature Reserve and is a 2 lap course course. From the start head in a northerly direction towards a stately willow tree. Cross over the famous Crocodile River and head up a small hill into a bluegum forest. From here the course takes 2 turns and then runs parallel to the serene dam with the looming mountain to the left. Cross over a low concrete bridge and then turn onto the dam wall. Skip the first exit and take the second exit over the dam slipway and turn onto the grassed area that leads one back to the start/finish and head off for the second lap.
