Anysberg Nature Reserve, situated in the semi-arid Klein Karoo between Ladismith, Laingsburg, Touwsrivier, and Montagu, spans 79,629 hectares of diverse plains, Cape Fold Mountains, and valleys, sustaining abundant life within its mountain fynbos and Klein Karoo veld, and holds World Heritage Site status.

Anysberg Nature Reserve is situated within the semi-arid Klein Karoo region, nestled between the towns of Ladismith, Laingsburg, Touwsrivier, and Montagu. This sanctuary, formally established in 1990, covers a vast expanse of 79,629 hectares, encompassing expansive plains as well as the awe-inspiring Cape Fold Mountains, adorned with profound valleys and steep ravines. Nourished by the flow of three rivers, the reserve fosters a rich tapestry of life, thriving amidst the mountain fynbos and the distinctive veld of the Klein Karoo. Notably, it holds the distinction of being a designated World Heritage Site.
