Explore this 7.4-km loop trail near Madibeng NU, North West. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2 h 8 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and walking, so you’ll likely encounter other people while exploring.
At Africaland we offer a beautiful hiking trail amongst the natural landscapes of the Pelindaba Wilderness, ranging in a distances of 9kms. The trail will take you on a journey through high mountain paths, open grassland, a forested riverine with natural fresh water springs and open grassland with incredible views of the Magaliesburg Ranges.
As you make your way along the trials you’ll see the skyline of Johannesburg and Sandton from the peaks of the Magaliesburg Range. Wildlife to be seen include – Impala, Kudu, Nyala, Mountain Reedbuck, Eland, Bushbuck and Duiker among others. This is a brand new trail opened in the same nature area as the Phaladingwe Nature Reserve.

The entrance fee is payable at the boom. Just take note that they only take cash, so be prepared.
