Uncover a 2.1-kilometer loop trail located near Umhlanga, Kwazulu-Natal. Widely recognized as an easy route, it typically takes about 30 minutes to complete and is a favored choice for birdwatching, hiking, and leisurely walks.

This is a fantastic clean and child friendly hike. Which includes a short stroll on the beach too. Umhlanga lagoon is a 26 hectares nature reserve on the shore of the Indian Ocean at Umhlanga Rocks. ‘Umhlanga’ is Zulu and means ‘place of the reeds’. The reserve encloses the Ohlanga River’s lagoon and mouth.
