Polokwane parkrun

features

The Polokwane 5km parkrun offers an exciting opportunity for the local community and visitors to embrace a healthy lifestyle while basking in the natural beauty of Polokwane, South Africa.

The course is 5000m (5k) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel. The course is at the Cnr Landdros Mare St and Potgieter St (across from Tom Naude School), Polokwane. The course is run on a mixture of sand paths, gravel paths and grass. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.

Course Description

The course starts from the lapa near the car park on the corner of Landdros Mare and Potgieter streets. The course continues along bottom of the dam before turning left and following the course for several hundred metres towards the woods. You will cross a stream using a bridge, after which the course keeps right through the woods. Keeping along the path until 2 sharp and sudden turns to the left and then past the resident friendly furniture sellers. The course then follows parallel to Potgieter street for several hundred metres, and then another turn to the left, running through the trees and back toward the dam. Here you will cross another bridge and follow the course up and along the dam wall. Keep an eye out for some early morning fisherman and the birdlife. Continuing down the wall toward another sharp left. Follow the course to where it re-joins Loop 1. Only one more to go!
Complete your second loop and then veer right back toward the Lapa and starting point. You have reached the end! Well Done!

Hi there! Do you know if they make any plugins to help with Search Engine Optimization? I’m
trying to get my site to rank for some targeted keywords but I’m not seeing very good gains.
If you know of any please share. Thank you! I saw similar art here: Bij nl
