Kidds Beach parkrun

features

The Kidds Beach 5km parkrun in East London, South Africa, provides a beautiful coastal backdrop for runners and walkers alike. With its 5-kilometer course, this parkrun offers a scenic and invigorating way to kickstart the day while fostering a sense of community and fitness.

The course is 5000m (5k) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel. The course is at Kidd’s Beach, Buffalo City (East London). The course is run on a mixture of grass verge, single track and beach. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.

Course Description

This is a fairly flat out and back along Kidd’s Beach beach front. It includes the picturesque “Pirates Walk” alongside the river and then past the tidal pool before a long stretch along the front of Kidd’s Beach (look out for dolphins) before returning back.

Facilities

Will be developed as the run progresses. Parking is available but we would encourage all Kidds Beach residents to walk to the start.
