Inibos parkrun

The 5km parkrun in Inibos sets the stage for an exciting and active Saturday morning, where participants can enjoy a refreshing run through the picturesque Inibos Park, combining fitness with the beauty of nature in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere.

The course is 5000m (5k) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel. The course is at Inibos, Bloemfontein. The course is run on a mixture of gravel paths and trail paths. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.

Course Description

The course consists of a mix of trail tracks and gravel road. A short hill is encountered twice on the course that needs to be crossed upwards and downwards. The scenery includes luscious bushes and tall trees with birdlife rife in the area. The route projects the impression of participating in a forest or bush area and escapes the hustle and bustle of city living.

Ablution facilities are on site. Seating takes the form of garden benches under the trees and wooden stumps on the grass area.
