The course is 5000m (5k) long. This has been accurately measured by us with a professional measuring wheel. The course is at Gillooly’s Farm, 47 Boeing West Road, Bedfordview. The course is run on a mixture of trail paths, grass and paving. Some sections of the course may accumulate mud, leaves and puddles after rain. Dependent on availability, marshals will be at key sections of the course, or signs will be in place.

Course Description

This is a clockwise 1 lap course keep left pass right… Finishing at the Start. You can do it!!
Starting at the north end of the parking, in front of the Conference Centre.
Run down the middle grass meadow follow the signs right over the concrete bridge kept left around the dam.
Follow the signs left pass the old toilets on your left, thru the gate onto the paving behind the EMPD (Keep left as runners are returning on your right)
Follow the tape right around the big tree staying off the tar! (Public road) *1km* Continue on the sidewalk all the way past the road turn and find 3 marketed Electricity Pylons in a straight perpendicular line.
Run left around the back of these onto the river bank following the car track , all along the scenic river and mountain, *2km* the signs will direct you back to the paved street.
YOU ARE NOW HALF WAY… *2.5km*
Keep left as walkers will be on the right, at the end of the paving turn sharp left following the signs around the Dam, making a right hand circle along the river. Under the trees is *3km*
At the Needle split keep left down to the waterfall, keep left around the needle head along the top embankment and around the trees on the path back to the needle split, pass *4km*
Always be aware of oncoming runners/walkers. Keeping Left back around the Dam follow the path over the Concrete Bridge turn left immediately, follow the paved pathway keep left past the restaurant, back to the north end parking to finish at the start, finishing along the paved pathway.
What a relief to see the finish flag… You did it!!!
